(Ya-haiya, the instant resounds; ya-haiya, unto impermanence)
(Ya-haiya-haiya-haiya-ie, become my strength)
(Ya-haiya-haiya-haiya-ie, Ame no Habakiri, yae)

This blade pierces as swift as a gale, its beauty equal to thousands of flowers
The morning moon gleams in the twilight; O sorrows of mine, return to the Pure Land… for eternity[Notes 2]

Rather than tediously wipe away our tears, we asura would sooner howl our laments[Notes 3]
Turning both our memories and pride into a single peal of thunder

Now, begone! Flames raging with a blank mind shall scatter like flowers to the dancing wind[Notes 4][Notes 5]
Rend the darkness, O whimsical pangram, and hold aloft love with dignity[Notes 6]
Onwards I march—my spirit brims with the decision, the true courage to question my own heart
Yes, for this shining sword has staked all she has on her bonds

Meet your end without any complaints—nay… not even a splash upon this life

"Whom in our world shall always be?" Come, I will bury you with all my soul[Notes 7]
Such is the way I overcome hesitation, for I know not but to turn resolve… into my fangs

If I become stronger, even stronger… someday, I can slay the past of this fated tragedy
So then, why… why, I ask… tell me, why? I have no need for tears, and yet…

Surge forth! Until my life reaches its end, until the dream I saw with her comes true
I shall take back those days we harmonized with the sanction of the will-o'-wisps[Notes 8]
Onwards I soar—with surging waves as my wings, I dance across the sky of condemnation
I'll make sure of it, for we don't need to exist… in the same place

I've tired of your tomfoolery—nay… you will rot with the scarlet algae

The melody of fleeting memories is soothing and gently fragrant
Looking up at the stars, I swear this oath: I won't run anymore—nor will I cry anymore
Yes, O azure wings of the rakshasa, now is the time—come… unleash everything[Notes 9]

Now, begone! Flames raging with a blank mind shall scatter like flowers to the dancing wind
Rend the darkness, O whimsical pangram, and hold aloft love with dignity
Onwards I march—my spirit brims with the decision, the true courage to question my own heart
Yes, for this shining sword has staked all she has on her bonds

Meet your end without any complaints—nay… not even a splash upon this life
(Ya-haiya-haiya-haiya-ie, become my strength)
(Ya-haiya-haiya-haiya-ie, Ame no Habakiri, yae)
