"From the Horizon of Mankind's History" (人類史の彼方から, Jinruishi no Kanata Kara^?) is the first episode of Senki Zesshō Symphogear XV and the fifty-third episode of the Senki Zesshō Symphogear anime.

A casket, sealed away in ages past, surfaces in midsummer.
What lies within is sin, punishment— And the truth.
Its silence is stunning, as words themselves are stolen away.

The fiends of remnant gaze down from above, freed from their yokes.
Dreaming of a future denied, they seek vengeance for a disgrace suffered.

Plot

The Symphogear users are dispatched to Lake Vostok at Antarctica, where a defensive coffin containing an Anunnaki appeared from the bottom of the lake to attack them. While dealing with coffin, Elfnein and the Symphogear users discovered that it's attack are outer physics and not even Chris's Reflector able protect them. While defeated by coffin, the story shift to Hibiki having her singing test and she score quite well. After that, both Hibiki and Miku went to shopping to buy Chris's birthday present. Before going back, they ride the Ferris-wheel and saw an explosion on a ship at a nearby port. The scene then shift to the S.O.N.G. Headquarters where Genjuro giving instructions to the Symphogear users before the scene shift back to Hibiki awakening from the coffin's attack. Receiving cheering from nearby worker, Hibiki continues to battle with the coffin only to realize she's not alone as she got support from her teammates. Then the Symphogear users did Gear Blast Off and launch G3FA Hexa-Revolver at the coffin. The episode ended with inspection on damaged coffin and the coffin accidentally open and revealed the Anunnaki with Vambrace of Shem-Ha on one of the Anunnaki's wrist.

The shortest route, as fast as possible! Straight ahead! In a straight line!

• Hibiki and Maria mentioned The shortest route, as fast as possible! Straight ahead! In a straight line! is the similar sentence as in Episode 6 when Hibiki lands a powerful punch on Chris' stomach, cracking the Nehushtan Armor and sending Chris flying.
  • It is also the similar sentence as in G Episode 13 when combining their gears into gold and silver giant hands before finish Nephilim with Vitalization.
  • It is also a reference to Hibiki's G character song, Rainbow Flower, Saisoku de saitan de icchokusen ni.
• Chris' line "You wanna be a hero that badly?" is a reference to S1E13, where she says that line in response to Hibiki trying to destroy the moon fragment on her own.
