The Stained Glance (ステインドグランス Suteindo Guransu?) is a technique used by Millaarc Cranstoun.
Overview[]
A mysterious ability that allows Millaarc to invade her target's mind via looking into their eyes. She was able to affect Tsubasa Kazanari with the Stained Glance, but was unable to do the same with Hibiki Tachibana due to Hibiki not being vulnerable enough, nor with Elfnein due to Carol Malus Dienheim's influence.
The ability is theorized to be a power that can be traced back to vampires of legend. As the name implies, the ability able to forcefully interfere with the mindset of the target. It also slowly wear the target's mind and their judgement, leading to increase their dependence on others, such as forcibly executing an instruction, which is similar to hypnosis. This ability can also be used by third party such as Fudo Kazanari, by using a command Seal, start! (刻印、起動！ Kokuin, kidō!?) to trigger Stained Glance on the target. Once triggered, the third party able to control the target's mindset and giving instructions to the target. However, the downside of third party control is that it will eventually became unstable and fluctuated, leading the target to aware of the instructions given and doubt, but unable to resist the control.[1]
