This is the fourth chapter of the Senki Zesshō Symphogear manga.
In a flashback, Tsubasa and Hibiki are fighting a mysterious girl who is wearing the Nehushtan Armour. Unfortunately, the girl bests Tsubasa, and Hibiki is captured by the Noise, which are also being controlled by the girl. In desperation, Tsubasa tries to take back the Nehushtan Armour and prove her worth by singing her Superb Song...
The flashback is interrupted when Ryoko Sakurai gives Hibiki a poke to bring her out of her daydream. Section Two is in the middle of a meeting to discuss the transfer of Sacrist D (AKA Durandal), one of the few remaining complete relics, out of fear that the Nehushtan girl might attack Section Two and steal it. Of course, she's just as likely to try to steal Durandal while it's en route to its new location, so Genjuro asks Hibiki to protect the relic as an escort.
Meanwhile, Tsubasa is in intensive care, dreaming of Kanade. She feels that she's useless without her former partner, and can't accomplish anything. But Kanade tells Tsubasa that there's more to her life than mourning her and saving lives in her stead. Tsubasa doesn't understand, but Kanade tells her to go out and find the answers, and the dream ends there.
Later, Hibiki is riding in a car with Ryoko on the escort mission (after lying to Miku in order to sneak out of the dorms). All is going well until the mysterious Nehushtan girl attacks, targeting Durandal. She manages to cause Ryoko's car to crash, but Hibiki and Ryoko make it out of the explosion alive. Hibiki, determined, dons her Symphogear and confronts the girl.
However, she inadvertently activates Durandal with her battle song, and the relic rises out of its case, glowing. The Nehushtan girl, Chris Yukine, tries to grab it, but Hibiki beats her to it. However, the relic seems to react strangely to Hibiki's touch. In the background, Ryoko smiles...
