Relic Information

The Gjallarhorn (ギャラルホルン Gyararuhorun?) is a complete Relic that has the power to connect to parallel worlds.

Etymology[]

Gjallarhorn is the horn used by Heimdallr and Mímir in Norse mythology.

History[]

The Gjallarhorn was initially discovered and up-kept by Ryōko Sakurai aka Finé. The circumstances of the relic's discovery are currently unknown.

The Gjallarhorn remained dormant, but after the events of the Magical Girl Incident, it suddenly became active. Now connected to parallel worlds, an outbreak of supernatural events begins to occur. The Symphogear candidates are called upon to resolve the problem, and with Gjallarhorn's power, they head for unknown worlds.

Descriptions[]

Gjallarhorn is a complete relic that links parallel worlds together. It also detect crises in parallel worlds, alerting its users and providing a path to the world in need. The gates and paths opened by Gjallarhorn stays active, linking the worlds even after the crisis is resolved. However, the paths cannot be used without relics, meaning that currently, only wielders can traverse them.

A special black variant of Noise have been identified in these worlds. We call them Karma Noise. Not only are they far more powerful than typical Noise, they also instantly recover from superficial wounds. Among other unique traits, they also spread miasma that triggers negative emotions in surrounding organisms. Upon contact, a human will experience increased hostility, and at worst, a total collapse of the ego. Although wielders can resist this mental contamination, they become unable to use the Ignite Module.

The origin of these Karma Noise is presently unknown. A strong correlation between Karma Noise appearances and the Gjallarhorn events has been observed. In many cases, the Karma Noise ave observed to appear in the world indicated by the alert. Additionally, defeating the Karma Noise that appear has been confirmed to silence the Gjallarhorn alerts.
