The Antikythera Gear (アンティキティラの歯車 Antikitira no Haguruma?) is a Relic that is used to power the Autoscorer, Tiki.
Etymology[]
The Antikythera Gear (or Nehustan, Greek: Μηχανισμός των Αντικυθήρων or Mechanismós ton Antikythíron), is an ancient Greek hand-powered orrery, described as the first analogue computer, the oldest known example of such a device used to predict astronomical positions and eclipses for calendar and astrological purposes decades in advance. It could also be used to track the four-year cycle of athletic games which was similar to an Olympiad, the cycle of the ancient Olympic Games.
History[]
After retrieving Tiki from Val Verde Commonwealth which undercover in the Die Spinne Barrier[1], Saint-Germain rebooted Tiki using the Antikythera Gear, bringing her back to life Upon returning to her hotel in Tokyo.[2]
In the Episode 12 of AXZ season, the Alchemists sacrificed themselves to completely stop a massive explosion. Just when it's all over, Adam used his robotic arm to finally absorb the Divine Power. However, Tiki, who is somehow alive, stopped him from acquiring the Divine Power, giving Hibiki a chance to destroy Adam's arm, along with the Divine Power itself, permanently. Meanwhile, Adam got furious with Tiki for stopping him, crushed Tiki on the face and thus completely shut down Tiki.
In between the end of AXZ season and the beginning of XV season, the Antikythera Gear was retrieved from piles of rocks and back for analysis.[3]
